PEFC certification for wood materials from Austria?

Does anyone know if PEFC crtification ia a "USGBC-approved equivalent" to FSC certification?

My contractor is looking at this CLT manufacturer in Austria:

KLH Massivholz also has an FSC CoC certificate, can they not provide the CLT as FSC certified? PEFC is currently not a USGBC approved equivalent.
