Can someone clarify if a project needs to have performed the hazard assessment in pilot credit 98 and during pre-design, in order to be eligible for this pilot credit, or does this pilot credit mean to simply reference that assessment as a list of hazards to be focused on for pc 99? Thanks!

I have the same question. Does anyone have an insight on this?

I asked Alex Wilson, one of the credit crafters, and he said that, Yes, 98 is a prerequisite for 99.

Thanks Paula! I'm a little worried this restricts participation and therefore the potential to influence projects. I agree we absolutely need to do this kind assessment early but closing the door after predesign means only a few projects really prioritizing this issue, and tracking LEED pilot options, will get to test these credits. Perhaps that is the point, eh? It might work better to align the pilot with the IP credit and OPR deadlines of 30% design.

This is a really helpful clarification as I am diving into these pilot credit requirements. Thank you!
