Schools-2009 SSc2:Development Density and Community Connectivity

Park & Community Centers = Services?

Can the playground of the School we are working on count as a park if it includes a living stream, trees, benches, trellis, places for the students to lounge around as if they were in a park? There will be edible gardens as well and may include a community garden. If the school operates one of their buildings as a community center where community organizations can utilize the building after hours and on weekends, does this count as a community center? I know the school itself can only count as one of these two services, is there one option that would be better than the other to submit? I need a 10th service, despite having multiples in each of the other 9 categories I have services in.

I would suggest using the playground / park as long as it is open to the community. The LEED reference manual does not define what is a park.
