The USGBC Pacific Region is launching a new award this year that recognizes projects that have aspires to promote health of occupants and surrounding communities. In true USGBC style, this award has not been properly publicized, so they are still looking for submissions. I believe the deadline will be extended to June 7. I know many of you have amazing projects and hope you consider applying. The award is limited to projects located in the Pacific region (CA, OR, WA, AK, HI), though it may expand elsewhere in future years. I’m co-chairing the jury, with Frances Yang of Arup.
