As the project was already pursuing Daylight credit we have been able to use the same simulation tool for this piot credit. The project has a great façade from a daylight perspective, which helped to achieve this credit with also an appropriate interior distribution of occupied and non regularly occupied areas.

I also had a positive experience with this credit. Since the SDA time is only 10% rather than 50% of the occupied hours at 100 lux, several areas surprised me by showed this basic level of daylighting. One example is the entry areas to restrooms or conference rooms that otherwise don't have direct windows to outside. Like many others my simulation tool can be adjusted to look at the criteria. Give it a shot!

Again, I had a great positive experience with this credit. It was especially helpful because this latest project was shaded by tall buildings close to it, and did not achieve the regular daylight credit. Now I always run the calculations for this credit when I look at the regular daylight credit, just to see if we can pursue it.

We also had a positive experience with this credit, using the same dayligh simulation for the Dayligh credit and Pilot one.
