One of our clients is planning to install an outdoor air quality station on his building. The results of the air quality measurements would be displayed in common spaces of the building and/or accesible via a mobile application to inform building users of the outdoor air quality. Moreover this information could be used to let the building users know if the quality of outdoor air is good enough to open the windows.
We are wondering if this kind of solution could be used as an innovation credit. I would be gratefull for any feedback and information if anyone tried this solution for a purpose of an innovation credit.

Hi Agata, this sounds super cool! I think it's worth checking with GBCI directly to make sure they approve your strategy. I would be sure to provide the info outlined in the Innovation credit requirements: (the intent of the proposed innovation credit; the proposed requirement for compliance; the proposed submittals to demonstrate compliance; and the design approach (strategies) used to meet the requirements.)
You also might want to post this question to the NC-2009 forum - you may get some additional attention from other members there. Good luck, and let us know if you achieve the credit!
