Hi,

 

In what concerns outdoor airflow monitoring requirements for a VAV system, is acceptable to measure outdoor air flow by means of mass balance, i.e., by directly measuring supply, return and exhaust airflows and calculate outdoor airflow by difference? Note that this methodology was explicitly accepted in LEED 2009 IEQ c1.
