NC-v4 EQp1:Minimum indoor air quality performance

Outdoor Air delivery monitoring

Hi All,

I am working in a project where warehouse area is ventilated with roof exhaust fans. The fans are constant volume and it operates continuously. So, is it enough to install a current transducer to alarm/visual display if any one of the fans are switched off to monitor the outdoor air flow.

Thanks in Advance

We have similar situations and have found that because of the size of our warehouses we are having to use pressure transducers instead of current transducers (current transducers have distance limitations) . We have corresponded with LEED reviewers about this scenario, and they have told us it is an acceptable solution. However, we have not had a project go through review yet.
