Hi, currently we are having a problem diverting our Rock Wool Insulations for MRc.2. We can't find a facility or projects that are willing to accept them since it was said to have hazardous content. Maybe you could suggest other uses of this material so we would have an idea on what type of facilities or projects we would approach or, suggest proper ways on how to dispose it. Thanks

Mary Ann - I don't have any specific experience trying to divert rock wool but I would suggest contacting manufacturers of rock wool for ideas. Another resource might be the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association - http://www.naima.org/. Hopefully any LEEDusers with experience on this can step up and provide assistance as well.
Here is some information from NAIMA on the health and safety aspects - http://www.naima.org/insulation-knowledge-base/health-and-safety-aspects....
