Does anyone have any real idea what a Plug-and-play power or lighting control system is?  Our electricians consider our bus bar power distribution system to be plug-and-play but this almost seems too easy.  They also claim that the Dali lighting control system is plug-and-play which seems reasonable as the system can be reconfigured via software and does not need to be rewired to reconfigure lighting zones, etc.  

At the same time, neither system would meet the plug-and-play requirements for consumer products.

A google search for plug-and-play power distribution is quite unhelpful...
