Hospitality-NC-v4.1 LTc3:High Priority Site and Equitable Development

OPTION 3. BROWNFIELD REMEDIATION

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a LEED Gold Certification of New Construction Hotel in Rome. Before the assignement by the building owner and before the start of works on the site construction, there have been archaeological excavations by another company. The site for archaeological excavations must be included as a start of work even if the works on the site construction happened before our assignment? Considered that the site for archaeological excavations did not follow the protocol.

Thanks in advance

Hi Francesco, if this work took place before your ownership of the site, it would not affect this credit. Just account for the remediation work done by the LEED project owner.
