Hi,
LEED Reference Guide For Green Interior Design And Construction says in chapter EAc1.3 (# 6. Calculations) on p.168 that the standard has 2 energy comparison methods, both of which are appropriate for demonstrating energy cost savings to earn this credit. They are refering to the ECB method and the Performance rating method.
As I understand this are two dofferent methods. In my case I want to use the BPRM since I've already done this calulation for the CS-certification. But when I am about to fill in the form on LEED Online I can only see options for how to report the ECB-method. They want me to provide the ASHRAE Interactive ECB Compliance Report. I don't understand how to do the report when not using the ECB-method, but BPRM.
Can anyone help me to clarify this?
Thanks!

Emma,
I would use Table 1.4, catered to this project scope, as a stand in for the ECB form.

Hi Daniel,
We also have the same conditions as mentioned by Emma. We used PRM to conduct the energy modelling for our project. Could you please elaborate more on Table 1.4? Is it OK if we don't complete the ECB form? Appreciate your advice. Thanks much.
Hi Emma,
Appreciate if you could share what you submitted for your project. Thanks much.
Thanks,

The ECB form can be obtained here - http://www.ashrae.org/standards-research--technology/standards-forms--pr... - the form simply reports the energy modeling results. It would work with either the ECB or PRM.
Table 1.4 is submitted for BD+C projects with their energy model. It summarizes the modeling inputs in the baseline and proposed, not the modeling results. It would not be a substitute for the ECB Form. It could be used to supplement the narrative on the credit form where you describe your assumptions and calculations.

Hi Marcus,
Thanks for your reply. So, we still can fill in ECB form even though we used APPENDIX G for our energy modelling. Ok, we will submit our modelling inputs for baseline and proposed model as well. It helps.
Thanks much,
Grace

Hi Everyone,
I am having the same problem today and looking arround I found that there is a compliance form in ASHRAE website, which is specific to demonstrate BPRM compliance, and which I think will be suitable to replace the ECB form in the leedonline form,
What do you think,
