Hi Kristen,
You have to submit the action plans. For example:

Trying to revive this thread... New to the forum and tried a search on BPDO - EPD - Option 2 but posts were all fairly old. And I haven't done a LEED project in a number of years. Is there now a viable pathway to NC-v4 MRc2 - Buildng Product Disclosure and Optimization - Environmental Product Delcarations - Option 2? I know for a long time there weren't the products available that showed the impact reduction, nor were there USGBC approved programs. Are those available now? Are people achieving this credit?
Thanks in advance!!

Yes, it is now viable using LEED v4.1 Option2. There's not a ton of products but there's enough to get the credit if you plan accordinly (or just get lucky). Here's a link to an ebook that IDs the most common products and documentation available.

You can also find a great collection of Optimized EPDs on the Sustainable Minds website.
Under Rating Systems, select optimization. Search (transparencycatalog.com)

Thank you both for your responses! Just to be clear, LEED v4.1 Option 2 is achieveable, but it looks like LEED v4 Option 2 isn't, as it requires 50% of the total value of products. And I know I can substitute LEED v4.1 credits in a LEED v4 project.
Thanks so much!
