I can't seem to find a minimum threshold for the amount of reused / salvaged materials required to be able to achieve all (4) points within Opt 2 Path 4.
Does anyone know if GBCI has internal thresholds they require of project teams?

Hi David,
There is no threshold at present. Since LEED v4.1 is a beta rating system, the intent is to see what types of projects we get so that we can review and see if a threshold is appropriate. I hope this helps.

Does slag count as a reused or recycled material since it is a by-product of steel manufacturing? We have achieved a substantial reduction in GWP in concrete mixes by replacing cement with slag, and are hoping to achieve the 4th point in version 4.1

To be considered "salvaged" I believe it needs to be recovered from an existing building or construction site. By-products of a manufacturing process are considered "pre-consumer recycled content". It is my understanding that slag would probably more closely align with a pre-consumer recycled content product.
