Hi: I'm writing to share a unique opportunity to make a difference at SCALE as a Sustainability Manager at Amazon Global Services.
This comes from Lisa Matthiessen, FAIA, LEED Fellow who some of you may know. Lisa just joined Amazon's Worldwide Sustainability Team who is charged with making real their Net Zero for all operations by 2040 commitment. Lisa suggests anyone interested should contact her directly first for information and she can work internally. She also says, "Generally speaking, the position will be on the procurement team that handles major supplier contracts for the non-corporate building program. It would be great to find someone who has extensive experience in design and construction and sustainability, and is a good communicator. Alternatively, a specialist in supply chain and sustainability would be great. There is room to grow a robust team if the candidate is interested in managing people .
