The home page for this credit, by Ben Stanley, stated below, mentions an alternative reqmn't allowing for operable windows. Can someone elaborate on this for me? I can't seem to find this addendum. Thank you.
"Fortunately for multifamily projects, USGBC released an addendum that provides alternative requirements for naturally ventilated residential units. The alternative requirements focus on providing operable windows in each residential unit, and allows teams required by the ASHRAE standard. See the ventilation calculations exercise to learn more about the information that you’ll need to complete this prerequisite."

Hi Harry,
See the updated rating system language for the prerequisite here https://www.usgbc.org/node/5643551?return=/credits/multifamily-existing-.... Scroll down to "Multifamily only" under Naturally ventilated spaces. Hope that helps

Hi,
where it says in the Natural Ventilation for this prerequisite :
" Multifamily only In residential units with operable windows, have an operable window in each bedroom. The total openable window area in each bedroom must be a minimum of 4% of the net occupiable floor area or be capable of supplying at least 10 cubic feet per minute (5 liters per second) of outdoor air per person. In each full bathroom, have either an exhaust fan that vents directly to the outdoors or an operable window."
Is this for Europe and India only, or could it be a strategy for Central America?
