Onsite solar PV generation - 10 years contract

Hi, Is it compulsory to sign a 10 years contract with the solar PV supplier (the PV panels are installed on the rooftop of the project building)? 10 years is too long for the building owner, is there any alternative path? Thanks.

I don't see an alternative here if you want to get credit for the on-site PV installation.
