CI-v4 EAc2:Optimize energy performance

Office building energy simulation

Hi users, In general, For energy simulation, we modeling the tenant occupied spaces on an Office building (Commercial interior) by comparing our proposed case (project building )with our baseline case (ASHRAE 90.1) . In this project we had a water cooled chiller as a builder scope. The project building only purchasing the chilled water from the builder side. In this case , I go with an option of purchased chilled water means how do I consider the pumping, fan power and some related consumptions. Please give me a suggestions to my query.

This is covered in detail in the Reference Guide. There are two methods - if the project has similar occupancies throughout then you proportion the system by area; if the occupancies are dissimilar it gets a bit more involved but it is distributed based on the portion of the overall loads in your space.
