There are a total of 915 full-time employees on the Project and when inputting the half of 915 which is 457.5, it gets rounded to 458 under Male and Female. This makes the total occupants 916 which is inaccurate in terms of Project occupant numbers. Is it possible to put under Male - 458 and Female - 457 = 915? But doing this would mean a non-default gender ratio meaning I would need to provide a narrative with supporting documentation.
What is the workaround to this on the Indoor Water Use Reduction calculator?

Kavita, just insert your total number of occupants: 915 in the cell for total FTE (D11 in the document I pulled up now). In your case with 915 FTE it will say 50/50 % and the calculation will be accurate (it will divide them up to 458 males and 457 females). You don’t have to provide a narrative. If you have few occupants, under 100, it will say 51/49 %, but this still does not affect your calculation much. The cells for males and females should be locked so you cannot insert decimals, cells 12D and 13D. Hope this helps.

Hi Maria,
I am unable to enter the total occupants in cell D11 as the cell is protected.
Another query I had regarding the calculator when entering the visitors data - should this represent visitors per day or in a year?

Ok, I did not have that problem. Try retrieving a new document and make sure you have macros enabled and all that. Otherwise it might be an IT-problem instead. https://www.usgbc.org/resources/indoor-water-use-calculator

Thanks Maria, was able to solve the problem - had accidentally ticked off Non-default gender mix on the top of the sheet. Unchecking that allowed me to edit cell D11.
