What are the acceptable locations for the no smoking signs? Are we allowed to place them on the glass doors of the main entrance? Does it have to be mounted on a post or on the exterior wall within the 10 feet of the main entrance? Thanks

Hi Luis,
Yes, you can place the signs on glass doors if that's appropriate for your project. The location can be on a post, provided it is permanently installed, meaning someone can't just walk up and remove it if they want.
In the past versions, the signage was required within 10 feet of the entrance(s); however, it looks like this requirement has been removed in the v4.1 language, and not updated or clarified with any other specific distance.
This seems odd to me. I would probably advise my projects to still have them within the same distance, and would likely ask LEED Coach for confirmation.
