No Existing and New Fixtures

Hi ALL,

Our project is a expansion commercial office, no existing and new fixtures are within the LEED project scope. Should we use the Special Circumstances to meet WEp1 requirement?

Yes, explain that in the Special Circumstances box.  "All *newly installed* toilets, urinals, private lavatory faucets, and showerheads that are eligible for labeling must be WaterSense labeled (or a local equivalent for projects outside the U.S.). Projects where fixtures or fixture fittings are not within the tenant spaces are exempt from this prerequisite."
