Regarding the alternative compliance path to the LEED v4 credit Cooling tower water use (BD+C)<https://www.usgbc.org/node/2611780>, a Core and Shell project has retail use in the ground floor and office use in the others floors.
The project design case doesn´t include a cooling tower, the design case mechanical system doesn´t use the latent heat of the evaporative cooling of water and the project doesn´t receive any cooling from a district cooling system.
The baseline system designated for the office using ASHRAE 90.1-2010 Appendix G Table G3.1.1 includes a cooling tower (systems 7 & 8) and the baseline system for the retail is system 4.
Considering that the office uses corresponds to most of the building, can the project achieve the ACP No Cooling Tower?

Hi Adriana,
When is your project registered? Because based on the LEED v4 pilot credit library, starting from 17th February 2023, this pilot credit is closed for registrations.
Therefore, if your project is registered after 17th February 2023, it is no longer achievable.
If not, then as long as the project met all conditions and can provide the documentation as requested in LEED, it is supposed to be achieved.
