CS-v4 LTc1:LEED for Neighborhood Development location

New LEED CS v4 project adjaent to LEED ND project

We are working on a LEED-CS v4 project which is adjacent to (across the street from) a LEED-ND pilot project certified site by the same owner. We understand that our project is not eligible for the LT LEED for Neighborhood Development location. Is there any other way we can use the ND certification to our advantage in terms of our credits?

Hi Susan, I can't think of any benefit from the certification itself...having the ND documentation can certainly save you some time on the LT credits, and if any of the ND amenities like bike parking, green vehicle infrastructure, stormwater infrastructure etc are sized and located to serve future development you can take advantage of that as well. But the certification really only affects LTc1.
