CS-v4 EQc1:Enhanced indoor air quality strategies

Natural ventilation room by room calculation

Hi everyone

We are working on a residential building that will not have mechanical ventilation on it´s units,  so the natural ventilation strategy will be applied and all living spaces will have operable windows and a CO2 monitor with a visual and audible alarm.

To comply with the Enhanced IEQ credit we are planning to go for Option 2, item E: room by room caclulation.

Does anyone has experience following this strategy?

We have fonund at the CIBSE webpage (www.cibse.org/Knowledge/Design-Tool-for-IAQ-Analysis) a worksheet which looks useful to caclulate the airflow through an opening.  

Any comments?
