NC-v4 EQp1:Minimum indoor air quality performance

Natural ventilation compliance using energyplus Airflow Network

Dear all,

i'm in the case of a warehouse in which natural ventilation is provided (CIBSE tool ok), but i have to demonstrate compliance with ASHRAE 62.1-2010 through simulation. I cannot use Alternative Compliance path for Europe.

Is energyplus modeling compliant? The energyplus function is Airflow network. It's not properly a CFD simulation, but it is a whole year model of natural ventilation through openable openings.

Anyone have ever used energyplus to demonstrate compliance to EQ prerequisite 1 - Natural Ventilation modeling?
