Hi Everyone
According to 2009 version LEED reference guide there are two ways to calculate out native or adapted vegetation area. Minimum should be either 25% of total site area ( without building footprint) or 5% of total site area ( including building footprint).
My questions are : Is it always the greater value resulted from one of these two methods to be compared with ? Is there chance to choose which calculating method is decided to use and compare in this credit on LEED template online?
we really appreciate any answers and comments from you !!! Thanks

Up to this moment, I have not heard of a third method. I am curious what kind of situation you met making you ask this question?
