We are currently working a project that contains multiple buildings on the site, however only a couple of the buildings will be LEED certified. Also, there is only enough room on site for a set of dumpsters for the collection of waste / recycling materials. For those that are being certified, how would we account for the waste? Would I take the overall total tonnage and divide it based on square footage? Do I need to get LEED's approval to track it this way?
