Hi - a masonry subcontractor provided me with the total cost of the CMU block, however, he broke out the recycled content of each component of the CMU, i.e., he gave me the % of cement, fly ash, recycled concrete - how do I enter that into LEED Online? Thanks!

Chris - First were the breakout % by weight? If so, you have you what you need. If not, you need the breakout % by weight before moving forward.
What I would do is list the CMU as a line item in the BDC Materials and Resources Calculator. (I am assuming that the CMU is regional and you want the remainder of the block counted for its regional contribution - 100%.) Title it “CMU less recycled components.” Then I would list the items that are recycled on separate lines underneath - fly ash in CMU, recycled aggregate in CMU, etc. Subtract the cost of those items from the overall cost of the CMU and use that remaining cost for the “CMU less recycled components” line. Then you can say 100% pre-consumer for fly ash in CMU and include the cost. Do this for all recycled components. Those components are probably regional as well so add that information in - 100% regional. Hope this gets you on your way.
