Steel sub listed 76.60% of raw materials extracted within 500 miles of project, the data he provided for back-up lists 5 different locations where the raw material was extracted but manufacturer cannot specify which individual location that particular material was extract - and they are not all within 500 miles - How do I figure the mileage?? And why does the EBMCF form ask for percentages of material extracted yet Leed Online is looking for actual mileage ? Thanks.

Chris - I think our conversation on the phone and the file of distance calculators I provided you answered your concerns above. As discussed, it is unfortunate that the Environmental Building Materials Certification Form (EBMCF) that your design team developed does not jive with LOv3 input forms but they may have been trying to address the % regional column in the BDC Materials and Resources Calculator. Regardless I think you now know what you need to do to move forward. Good luck!
