Hello all,
We are currently working on a C&S project (v.4) and planning to upgrade the MR section to v.4.1. For version 4.1, it stated that project could earn 2 points if it fulfills Option 1 & Option 2 requirements. From my understanding, option 2 is the enhancement of option 1. So I guess my questions are (i) "if a product fulfills option 2 requirements, does it automatically fulfilled option 1 requirements? and (ii) If so, it is possible for the Project to source 20 products from at least 5 manufacturers to fulfill option 2 requirements and gain 2 points under MRc4 credits?

If you have enough products to earn Option 2, they will almost certainly qualify for option 1. If you are using Cradle to Cradle products or third-party verified declare labels, they 100% will count for both (this is the main way we see project teams comply with Option 2). Also keep in mind under v4.1 for Core and Shell you only need 10 products for Option 1, so the same 10 for Option 2 will earn you the credits.
