As more clients are requesting materials related credits to be achieved in Japan, I wanted to start a forum or hub for LEED project leaders in Japan who are trying to achieve these 3 credits in the materials categories for ID+C projects.
What are some of the best suppliers in Japan that have disclosed material components, and certifications not just for EPDs but others such as FSC, HPD, JIS, Ecomark, Declare, and surpass ISO standards and other requirements to be met for LEED points?
Any relevant information, in Japanese or in English, would be much appreciated. This way we can help General Contractors in Japan to choose the best suppliers for their projects and make a more positive impact in the construction community.
