Our Cx firm has recently been asked to include Monitoring Based Cx language in our standard Cx Spec. We have not done this before, but realize we will now be running into this from now on when MBCx is in our scope. Is there a LEED requirement regarding spec language? Should the MBCx have it own section or can it be written into the existing Cx Spec? Or doesn't matter?
Additionally, we have looked for standard MBCx spec language online and different places but have not been able to come across anything. Is there a sample or a website you can provide to help us get started? Thank you!

Hello Rachel,
GBCI has informed me that there is no LEED requirement regarding how the Cx, BECx, MBCx requirements are incorporated into the construction documents. They can either be written into the spec or the Cx / BECx / MBCx plan can simply be added to the construction documents as an appendix.
If incorporating into the Spec it may be best to include within the existing Cx spec.
Not sure there is a good sample MBCx spec online for viewing.
Good Luck!
