Modelling acoustic performance

Hello - Other than hiring an acoustic consultant, I am wondering what in-house tools you are using internally at the design stage for modelling acoustic performance?

As our discussion continues internally, it looks like there might be a plug-in called Pachyderm in Rhino/Grasshopper for acoustic simulation. Has anyone tried it? As an aside, we have a license for Ecotect, acquired by Autodesk, but it has been discontinued and Autodesk no longer offers support... Cheers, Mona
