Greetings, Regarding Misc. load entry in the simulation software, there is a following query: As required (talking for electrical loads only), we are entering the value which is to be used for cooling/heating load estimation. There are el. loads like for electric heaters, hair dryers, etc, where the heating load in the room coincides with those on their nameplates, but we are not referring them now. In some cases however, the electrical loads are different from the load listed in the equipment nameplate. Like for office equipment, open electric motors, etc. For example, the office equipment load is somehow between 10 - 17 % from those of the name plate. The similar situations is with open el. motors - their heat load delivered in the room is about 18% of the nameplate load. The electrical designers however are designing the electrical network and power supply based on the nameplate data. The question is (example): There is office equipment with 200 W nameplate and power supply sized to cover this load. The heat delivered in the room is about 20-30 W, which are entered in the software. How should be proceeded with the remaining el. power (170-180 W) - shall we enter it as some process load which doesn't affect cooling/heating balance of the HVAC systems, or…..? Thanks.
