EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance Measurement—System-Level Metering

Minimum Performance Measuring Time

Greetings, We have a doubt about the credit EA C3.2 from LEED EB O&M. What is the minimum time to measure performance of the major’s building systems by the breakdown of energy? Do we have to measure during AND within 2 years (24 months) continuously before the project submission, OR do we have to measure at least once within 2 years before the project submission? Best Regards,

Hi Pablo I'm not sure I quite understand your question, but let me try to answer it to the best of my ability. This credit requires that you develop an energy end-use breakdown that was developed within 2 years of the date of your project submittal. Then you need to have system-level metering in place that maps to your largest energy end-uses. The sub-metering needs to be in place for at least 3 months, and must be continuous (we recommend logging on 15 minute intervals). I'd read through the flow chat at the top of the Bird's Eye View section for more information and then go through the Checklist steps to ensure that you've met all the other credit requirements, including calibration. Best of luck, Hannah
