NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

minimum outdoor air

Minimum outdoor air shall be model identically in both the cases. I am confused which outdoor air should be taken from either from IEQ baseline or from actual.

Absent demand controlled ventilation the baseline OA should be identical to the proposed design. In spaces with DCV in the proposed system the baseline should use the minimum OA as calculated for the proposed. The values used in EAp2 and EQp1 should be consistent.
