Hi to all,
I cant find the Minimum Indoor Air Quality Calculator for v4.1 O+M. I noticed there are some differences in the credit intent as compared with the v4 version, for instance the ASHRAE 62.1 version (2016 instead of 2010), and also the outside airflows should match the the rates outlined in the current facilities requirements and operations and maintenance plan.
Since there is no calculator, should I create one?

Hope this helps, the calculator has been updated for v4.1 options.

I have a project where the buildng does not have detailed floor plans. USGBC has advised that this is okay and note in the narrative. Problem is regarding filling out the IAQ calculator spreadsheet. It appears to be written on the presumption that square footage is known for all spaces, i.e. from a detailed drawing set. What are my options for filling out the IAQ calculator space-by-space for calculating the required OA quantities? We are going to do a test and balance and correct any insufficient flow rates that are measured.

Have you had any feedback on the space-by-space populating data in minimum indoor air quality calculator?
My understanding is that we dont need to include measured or design flow rate per space, as this is not availalbe in our project. Considering we will include measurements per sytem/AHU (not space by space)

Reply from GBCI on space by space airflow was as follows:
It would not be acceptable to assume that the conditions on the floor with missing drawings are identical to the other floors. If space-by-space airflows are not available for the whole building, the project team may use the simplified calculation method for mechanically ventilated spaces in the prerequisite requirements. Space-by-space airflows are not required when using this method (described below).
According to the prerequisite requirements for mechanically ventilated spaces, projects must "measure the total quantity of outdoor air delivered and verify the results are within 10 percent of the rates outlined in the current facilities requirements and operations and maintenance plan. Measurements shall quantify the amount of outdoor air for each air handling unit serving the project. Measurements taken within five years prior to project submission are acceptable.
