Minimum Efficiency Requirements for combined split type unit

Hi LEED Expert,

We are working on a factory project. Most condition area shall be cooled by central chiller plant. But in some conditioned area we decide to use 2 x 140,000 Btu/hr split type unit, total cooling cap at 280,000 Btu/hr. The 2 split type units are combine together as one unit.

My question is, could we compare it's efficiency within range [ >= 240,000 Btu/hr, <760,000 Btu/hr], in table 6.8.1, ASHRAE 90.1?

I think the efficiency should be based on each individual unit.

When in doubt always pick the most conservative option relative to your generation of savings.
