The credit submittals require "product data indicating meter has capabilities of meeting prerequisite requirements", but the credit language does not specify requirements for the meters themselves such as off-site data recording, etc. Am I missing something?

Hi Kimberly. Thanks for noticing this. You are not missing anything and are absolutely correct that the pilot credit does not require any specific type of meter to be installed. The credit submittal requirement you referenced should not have been in the pilot credit, and as a result, we have removed it from the submittal requirements and are now only requiring the following:
- Water flow diagram indicating all sources and uses of water, expected flow rates and proposed meter locations
- Floor plans showing locations of meters and sub-meters
- Commissioning agent, Design Professional or Meter manufacturer’s statement that meter has been correctly installed and calibrated.
- Basic calculations showing project's annual water use for the features called out in the pilot credit
You can also access the entire pilot credit here: http://www.usgbc.org/ShowFile.aspx?DocumentID=8200
