Is there any mandatory filter efficiency requirement (MERV) for projects located in areas with a very high PM2.5 levels? Is it mandatory for ASHRAE 62.1-2010 requirements?

I do believe that Std 62.1-2010 includes MERV rating requirements for buildings in non-attainment regions. But, I'm not sure that GBCI will request documentation of MERV efficiency under this prerequisite.
