CI-2009 IEQc3.1:Construction IAQ Management Plan—During Construction

MERV Filter Replacement

Prior to demo/During construction we have installed MERV 8 on the return air units. But after construction the replacement of the filters is managed by the building management. Is it okay if the building management uses MERV 8 filters to replace in lieu of Merv13?

MERV 8 replacement satisfies the requirements of IEQc3.1. MERV 13 replacement is only required if you intend to meet the requirements of IEQc5: Indoor Chemical and Pollutant Source Control.
