Hi forum users!
A furniture factory project I'm working on is attempting to target the LEED v4.1 NC Acoustic Performance credit.
Project Details:
- Office spaces on the perimeter
- Large open plan furniture manufacturing space with machinery and regularly occupying factory staff
The question we have is whether the manufacturing spaces can be excluded from the RT and Sound Transmission requirements of the Acoustic Performance credit. The credit requirements will be met only for the occupied office spaces.
Is this a reasonable and acceptable approach? If not, what feasible strategies can be used to comply with the credit?
