Healthcare-v2009 MRc5:Furniture and medical furnishings

Medical Equipment

How does medical equipment factor into this credit? What about moveable, electric operating tables or exam tables that have a mattress built into the unit...do the mattresses have to comply with this credit? What about the other components of the unit...the finishes and whatnot?

I would think that medical equipment would be excluded. I would count operating tables and radiology tables as medical equipment but say that exam tables are furniture. Mainly because you can get a lot of exam tables from furniture manufacturers but can't get the other examples from anyone but a specialized equipment manufacturer.
