Schools-2009 IEQc3.2:Construction IAQ Management Plan—Before Occupancy

measuring and reporting temperature & RH

Does anybody know how to measure and report indoor temperatures and relative humidity during flushout? Do we need to record min. and max. every single day at every single room? or can we just take the measurement in one more or less neutral location (say, a corridor) twice a day during the procedure? I would appreciate some feedback from someone who has already reported this and got comments from GBCI. Thank you

With the current template, LEED only requires that you specify how you would ensure your project maintained proper indoor temperatures and humidity. It does not have a place to upload supporting documents proving you took measurements. We typically use data loggers. These are relatively inexpensive and easy to use. They take continuous measurements which verify that your space always stays within the required conditions. Locations and quantities of sensors will depend on the size of the project and the type, use your judgement, as long as it is defensible that is sufficient.
