Hello. We are currently working on a project for which the LEED boundary includes everything in the campus like a bus maintenance facility and offices, except an office/garage hybrid building next to this one. However there are two chillers and two boilers that serve both buildings. We are having an issue defining how to sub-meter this for the M&V. We will be providing temp sensors and flow sensors connected to a BMS at the AHUs corresponding to the LEED boundary areas. But my main question would be, does the sub-meter have to be assigned per parameter or output of the energy model to be calibrated or does it have to be per energy source? The reason I'm asking is because we have some circuits that are together (lets say some plug loads and some lighting) and pretty difficult to sub-meter by function within the circuit. What type of report is required after calibration. Is there an example? Thanks.
