Hi Andreza, I'm not 100% sure I understand your question, but I'll give it a shot. Materials purchased/installed as part of the LEED-NC project are not assessed during the LEED-EBOM project. In fact, you won't lose your LEED-NC certification for anything that happens during the LEED-EBOM project. Does that answer your question?

hi Trista!I think you answered. So if the construction owner performs a makeover after obtaining certification, outside the LEED standards, the materials that are used for this renovation does not matter. The certification remains without any concern.

Yes that's right, your original LEED-NC certification is set in stone, since it covers the original design and construction of the building. Materials used in renovations would be relevant if you're planning to use the LEED for Existing Buildings or LEED for Commercial Interiors rating systems. But your original LEED-NC certification will not be affected by a renovation.
