Materials Counted for other MR Credits

In pursuing this pilot credit, can we count materials that have already been counted for MR credits? I.e., can we count all refurbished non-structural elements that have already been counted for MR 1.2 Building Reuse-Non-structural elements? Also, if we are refurbishing a room's historic wood floors, but adding a carpet rug over 90% of the refurbished floor, can 100% of the wood floor be counted as refurbished for this pilot credit? (The area covered does not count for MR 1.2, since surface area is being covered by another new material)
