Manual Blinds Simulation Required?

Hello,

I am attempting to use passive strategies to deal with glare. I want to avoid using any kind of blinds. The credit language seems to suggest that I still need to simulate them even if the plan is not to have them? Is that correct?

If I manage to acheive < 10% ASE in a space, do I still need to simulate manual blinds? Thank you ahead of time!

The credit requires simulation according to LM-83-12 which addresses this topic under Section 2.2.6 Blinds/Shades Operation. If your project meets the two criteria defined there, the sDA simulation can be performed without blinds modeled.
