CS-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

Mandatory provisions.

Good day, I need to understand some thigs about 5.4, 8.4 and 10.4 of standar ashrae 90.1-2007.(My project is in Perú) 5.4- 5.4.1-'' Where insulation is required in 5.5 or 5.6, it shall comply with the requirements found in 5.8.1.1through 5.8.1.9'' - I am using curtainwall, so, 5.8.1.1-5.8.1.9 has become mandatory. 8.4- " Feeder conductors shall be sized for a maximum voltage drop of 2% at design load'', but in my country is 2.5%, I need to comply ashrae of can be the law of my country. 10.4- ''Electric motors shall comply with the requirements of the Energy Policy Act of 1992 where applicable, as shown in Table 10.8. Motors that are not included in the scope of the Energy Policy Act of 1992 have no performance requirements in this section''. Seeing Energy Policy Act of 1992, it is for U.S. , but my project is not there, so I need to comply it) thank you in advance

5.8.1.1-5.8.1.9 deals with the characteristics of the insulation and not curtainwall. But yes those sections become mandatory related to the insulation. 8.4 - if your country's requirements are different you are fine. This item is not even evaluated in a LEED submission. 10.4 - the one affects energy use directly and if you cannot comply you will need to make a compelling case as to why you cannot comply.
