I’m working on a project that has transient occupants. How does the IEQ space matrix address transients, and are transients required to have access to the controls?

NC-2009 IEQc6.2:Controllability of Systems—Thermal Comfort

Location of underfloor air diffusers

Hi, We have a project that has a large number of individual work stations and we are trying to achieve this credit by providing underfloor air diffusers for each work station. Is there any rule regarding how close the diffuser has to be from the work station? Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks, Saurabh

Nope - you just need to add up the number of work stations in the room vs the number of operable diffusers.
